Afternoon all,
Do you think that anyone can be a good player?
I'm not talking about playing at the highest stakes with a huge roll. But I mean playing at a decent level where you are able to compete and win.
If you put in the hours, study, work on your game, take advice, make full use of the forum do you think it is possible to be a good player.

Anyone can be a good player as long as he reads first basics and then advanced poker stuff! Above reading all those books and articles i think the most important way to become a good poker is to play! I had the pleasure to meet a few pro players and asked them the same question and all of them reply the same : with discipline, patience and good knowing of the game you can be a good player! Being more than good player however i think not everybody can do it: besides all the "ingredients" i mentioned you will need talent and for sure some luck | |
